I hope all is well! I wanted to send you a quick email to tell you I finally stepped out there and got a credit card after overcoming the obstacles of filing Chapter 7. I was hesitant because I didn't want to fall into the same traps as before. My first card was approved with a $3000 credit limit. The interest rate is through the roof (21%) but it was expected just 2 months after my discharge. Anyway, they offer free access to my credit score which I hit the button this morning checking my balance and was blown away at what I saw!
God is so good! We have been contemplating getting a car for years and have put it off. That's the next step in the very near future! Things have been so good and we both continue to say how BK was the best thing we could have done for our finances!
